Customs Enforcement teams confiscated 93 kilograms of human hair during the operation carried out at Istanbul Airport.
According to a statement made by the Ministry of Commerce, a passenger identified as coming from Ethiopia was deemed suspicious by the teams, subjected to an item search and directed to an x-ray scan.
93 Kilograms of human hair were found in the passenger’s accompanying suitcases.
It was determined that the hair was worth 1 million 340 thousand pounds.
