A Gathering of Innovators
Last week, the headquarters of Eve Air Mobility (Eve) in Melbourne, Fla., became the focal point for a pivotal Customer Advisory Board meeting. This assembly saw the convergence of customers and partners from 12 distinguished companies across a myriad of continents. The agenda was packed with discussions on the aircraft, operational strategies, ecosystem preparedness, and the unveiling of innovative services and solutions. Eve’s Advisory Board, a melting pot of expertise including both fixed-wing and rotorcraft operators as well as lessors, is committed to jointly crafting the Urban Air Mobility (UAM) ecosystem.
Co-Creating the Skyways of Tomorrow
“Together with our customers, our goal is to lead the evolution of mobility and help accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable air travel while giving the public access to the sky like never before,” stated Johann Bordais, CEO of Eve Air Mobility. Eve is adopting a holistic approach by not only developing an eVTOL but also a comprehensive suite of services, operation solutions, and a revolutionary Urban Air Traffic Management (ATM) software. This endeavor aims at preparing the ecosystem for an efficient entry into service. Flavia Ciaccia, head of User Experience & Market Intelligence at Eve Air Mobility, emphasized the importance of a customer-centric approach in the development of their eVTOL aircraft, services, and operation solutions. By integrating a wide array of customer perspectives, the program ensures the delivery of tailored solutions that meet the demands of the current scenario.
Highlights of the meeting included discussions on optional items, vehicle configurations, and the passenger cabin experience. Additionally, attendees were updated on the program and product developments by Eve’s leadership team. The meeting also served as a platform for Eve to showcase its extensive sales and support network globally, including Embraer’s robust service and support network featuring 10 existing service centers and 66 third-party service centers worldwide.
