Seoul, South Korea, 1 December 2023 — Embraer has proudly announced the delivery of the Praetor 600 to South Korea’s Flight Inspection Services Center, marking the first of its kind in the nation. This collaboration with Aerodata AG, a leading German Prime and Flight Inspection System manufacturer, signifies a milestone in achieving first of type certification and customer delivery to South Korea’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), Seoul Regional Office of Aviation, Flight Inspection Center (FIC).
The Praetor 600’s Unique Mission
The state-of-the-art Praetor 600, equipped with Aerodata’s advanced AeroFIS® flight inspection system, is set to perform a comprehensive range of flight inspection tasks. These include site survey, surveillance, commissioning inspection, periodic inspection, special inspection, procedure validation, and ADS-B airborne checks. Such missions are crucial for the calibration and maintenance of navigation aids, ensuring the precision and safety of air navigation systems throughout South Korea.
