In an F-18 crash today the spainish air force lost 2 pilots.
The accident occurred near the town of Peralejos in Teruel, the crash sparked a forest fire, civil Guard and firefighters are now in the area.
The F-18 a two seated version stationed at Torrejon Air Base in Madrid reportedly carried no weapons, it was flying with another F-18 at low altitude (below 2000 feet) in a training exercise. The cause of the accident is not know at this time, the pilots were not able to eject from the plane.
