A New Era for Japan Airlines
Toulouse, 14 December 2023 – Japan Airlines (JAL) proudly announces the acquisition of its first A350-1000, a state-of-the-art aircraft, from Airbus’ delivery centre in Toulouse, France. Destined to spearhead JAL’s international fleet, this aircraft will initially grace the skies between Tokyo Haneda and New York JFK, marking a prestigious upgrade in the airline’s operations.
Unparalleled Comfort Across Four Classes
JAL’s A350-1000 is meticulously configured in four classes to cater to a variety of passenger needs and preferences. The First Class compartment boasts six luxurious Suites, each adaptable into three configurations: a cosy sofa, a comfortable seat, and a spacious single or double bed. The Business Class section is not far behind in luxury, offering 54 Suites complete with privacy doors. Premium Economy Class and Economy Class passengers are not forgotten, with both sections designed to provide enhanced personal space and comfort, ensuring a pleasant journey across all classes.
The cabin of JAL’s A350-1000 is a testament to the airline’s commitment to passenger experience, drawing inspiration from the serene beauty of Japanese aesthetics. JAL has placed orders for 31 A350 aircraft, including 18 A350-900s and 13 A350-1000s, demonstrating its confidence in the Airbus A350 as a key component of its fleet. Already operational on high-density domestic routes in Japan since 2019 with the A350-900, JAL is now set to extend this excellence in aviation to its international routes with the A350-1000.
